1. The product
TabShame is a macOS menu bar application that counts your open browser tabs and judges you for it. It is sold as a one-time purchase and licensed for use on a single Mac.
2. License
Upon purchase you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use TabShame on one device. You may not sublicense, resell, or distribute the software or your activation key.
3. Payments & refunds
All purchases are processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD. Because TabShame is a digital product delivered immediately upon payment, all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue that prevents the app from working, contact us at support@tabshame.com and we will do our best to help.
4. Activation keys
Your activation key is tied to one device. Keep it safe — we cannot recover a lost key used on a device you no longer own. If you replace your Mac, contact support and we will review your case.
5. Updates
Your purchase includes all future updates to TabShame at no extra cost. Updates are delivered via the in-app update mechanism and are never guaranteed on any specific schedule.
6. Disclaimer
TabShame is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to emotional distress caused by seeing your tab count.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of TabShame after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
